The very best focaccia bread! Especially the garlic option. Yum!! You have to try it. Good cold brew too. My salad was mediocre for the price point and service was very slow. Overall a great store, would love to try more things the next time I’m in town.

Went for the first time. I ordered the pastrami reuben and my wife hit the bakery case. Ruben was perfect: Bread was toasted, not soggy. Pastrami was generous portions and not too salty. Sauerkraut was not to vinegar-y. My wife loved her croissant and New York Cheesecake. Will definitely be back!

Went early to be sure to get the corned beef and cabbage. There was a sign, 1 serving $15, 2 servings $22. I thought i would get enough for later, ordered 2 servings, and it came up over $30 plus tax. I was confused. The 2 servings was only the cold to take home and heat up. So. Only got 1 serving, hot, to eat there. Good thing I only got 1 serving. After it had been heated there, the corned beef was so tough, their knives wouldn't cut it. So, I ate the potatoes, some al dente, the carrots, and the cabbage,some al dente. Brought the meat to go,hopefully to try and cut into teeny tiny pieces to try to eat. Got a cannoli to go...the cream basically ran out of the cannoli, had to use a spoon. Highly doubt I'll be back for their prepared foods, but might look at their packaged and jars of various foods that looked interesting. Staff were friendly, tried to explain the pricing which I thought was odd. Nice clean, new looking place.

The Reuben at Martinelli’s Market sets the bar. House-roasted Angus beef brisket arrives tender, juicy, and generously stacked, layered with Grand Cru Alpine Swiss, sauerkraut, and a house-made Russian dressing that ties everything together. Served on their rye, the sandwich is rich yet balanced, showcasing the quality and care behind every ingredient. Quite simply, the top sandwich in Champaign.

I stopped by Martinelli’s Market for breakfast and everything I tried was great. I had a breakfast sandwich that was absolutely delicious, and the breakfast burrito was just as tasty. For the quality of food, the price is honestly hard to beat. I also tried the coconut flaky donut and it was insanely good—crispy, rich, and full of flavor. You can really tell they care about using fresh, local ingredients, which adds a lot to the experience. The outdoor seating is beautiful and makes it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal. I’ll definitely be coming back.
